Spring Mountain Adventures

"Spring is the closest mtn to delaware so I end up hitting it a lot. I like this mtn bc it is small and cheap and I can run up after work and get some laps in. Off peak season passes are dirt cheap, food is good, park crew does a great job, employees always seem happy. Overall a great mtn for what it is. The place is a throw-back in all the best ways. It has the welcoming, family atmosphere of the places I remember from my own childhood. Everyone is welcoming and they have everything you need. "Had a blast here on New Years eve. Staff was all very friendly. It was very busy and they handled the crowd well. Took the group ski lesson and there was 3 instructors for a group of 10, which I thought worked really well and kept things moving. Lots of reasonably priced food options as well. Recommend going later in the day, it emptied out after 4pm super fast."

"It was our first time here. Chose this place because they claim to have gentler slopes. And since I was teaching my son (last time I didn't, two years ago, and it was a disaster) I found it was a better choice. Everything was perfect. Staff helped getting my boots right (third one was it - I'm a big guy) and we had a blast. My son Max was gliding down and linking turns in less than half an hour...."
